Nice jazzy soundtrack. Possibly the best work of a director who went on to make a commercially successful, but critically disapproved career with such films like "Sekula Se Opet Zheni".

Anna is used to make her own way in this world. Denying herself everything, she is the only one in the family who works, takes care of her mother and sister. Anna's sister, Maria, is her exact opposite. Dad's little girl, she is used to getting all the best.

An adventure story for young people set in a summer camp for boaters in Juná. Eda, marked by a tragic experience of occupation, has difficulty getting along with the other boys. He only gains their trust and friendship when he helps to uncover German saboteurs.

A group of drivers paid according to their performance are struggling with hard work in a large quarry, somewhere where foxes say good night. A new worker, Marek Orban, joins the team of foreman Peter Hotka, known as Maco. Deep down, he is a deeply moral person, although he was given a suspended sentence for bodily harm. He beat up his wife's lover, to whom he must also pay compensation. Marek hides this from the other members of the group because he is ashamed. Maco, out of friendship with Marko, attributes non-existent trucks to the group, which, of course, backfires. However, the team eventually shows its strength and works off the undeserved reward.
